NOISE!!! Who really wants to live with noise? UIP Property Management, Inc. understands that no one likes to be bothered by noise. Although living in an apartment can sometimes be somewhat noisy at times, we have placed some guidelines to help keep the noise down. UIP Property Management, Inc. encourages every resident to take some time to view the noise policy.
UNLAWFUL USE, DISTURBING NOISES, ETC. - Tenant shall not use, or permit to be used, the leased premises for any unlawful purpose, or do or permit any unlawful act in or upon the leased premises. Tenant shall not make or permit to be made any disturbing noises or do or permit any act, which will unreasonably interfere with the rights, comforts or conveniences of other tenants. Tenant shall keep the volume of any radio, T.V. or musical instrument in his apartment sufficiently reduced at all times especially before seven o'clock A.M. or after eleven o'clock P.M., so as not to disturb other tenants in the building, and shall not conduct or permit to be conducted vocal or instrumental practice or instruction therein, or operate any power tool or radio transmitter at any time. Failure to comply with this provision shall be deemed a material breach of the Lease Agreement, and Landlord may, among any other remedies allowable by law, serve Tenant with a 30-day notice to cure the violations or vacate. Raids by the District of Columbia Police Department, or any other governmental agency shall be deemed disorderly conduct on the part of Tenant and shall be sufficient cause for Landlord to serve a notice to cure or vacate to Tenant. |
