Do not stick you hand in the disposal!

Most garbage disposals come with a "key"; an alan key wrench bent in an "S" shape.  If you have the key, insert it into the bottom center of the disposal and turn the disposal back and forth to loosen it.  Remove the key and try the disposal again.

Remember do not but bones, paper, glass, plastic, metal fruit and or vegetable skins, rinds or other hard to process items in your disposal.  As a resident, you are responsible to treat the disposal as it is intended.  Please make sure to follow these simple steps and remember to recycle your paper, plastic, glass and metals.
